Add it all up, and this is what has brought us where we are today. However, I am hopeful that, with our next election, some of this may be turned around, or at least kept from getting worse, if we, as Christians, will pray, vote, and pray some more. We must be vigilant and active in order to turn this country around and become a godly nation once again! Just because his father was a Muslim and the President was reared in that environment in his younger years, does not make him a muslim. Why? Because if I accept this view that most are reported to have done, I must also re-evaluate how I see Jesus Christ. Most except that Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary and the Holy Spirit however, Matthew records that Mary was pregant [with child] when Joseph married her. So, was Joseph or the Holy Spirit the father of Mary's baby? Was He a Nazarite or was he truly, the Son of God? So what if President Obama's father was a Muslim. Does that make him any less a great leader? Trust me it want be the first time! Take for example, President Jefferson. His Diary reveals that he did not accept the whole Bible in its entirety and had a bible "The Jefferson Bible" published for his personal use. This Bible extracted out all writings except for the words and actions of Jesus Christ. Check it out! I don't agree with a lot of what our pres. says or does. But I try and not place judgement on him. When he was running for the presdent seat I saw a BLACK CLOUD over him. I don't trust him. But the rest is up to God. We need to keep this man and his family and those that follow him in our prayers. We Americans do tend to feel sorry for ourselves. Try having a Christian meeting in Laos. Or Afghanistan. The Sudan. China. N Korea... American Christians are so stuck on what our Founding Fathers did that we can't see the sin our very own hands and hearts are doing. Get up. Get out. Feed the poor. Tend the sick. care for the orphan, the widow. Do an honest day's work. etc. But every time, speak the name of Jesus because without him we are nothing, just another community organizer. Hide the word of God in your heart, don't sin against him. Then be ready. Our day will come. Laos. Afghanistan. Sudan. China. We can do all things when we are walking in love of God and love for our fellowman. Love of God, Jesus said, was evidenced by obedience to God's word. (John 14:21,23) Pray for repentance toward God - from the President down to the least citizen. Each time the nation of Israel cried out to God and turned back to Him, He heard and asnwered their prayers. God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
